Dr. Dace Tapley, DBH, LPC, NCC

Dr. Tapley has been in the mental health field for 10+ years. During his time in the field, he has worked in several community mental health facilities serving in a variety of position. His work has included a diverse population ranging from birth to end of life, in areas of depression, anxiety, anger, relationships, parenting, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and substance use. His philosphy in service delivery is empowering the client through understanding, personal responsibility and positive focus. He believes the client has all the tools needed for recovery within them and sees the provider as a guide.
Dr. Tapley holds a Doctorate in Behavioral Health, Masters in Counseling, Masters in Business Administration, and a Bachelors in Psychology. Prior to becoming a doctor and counselor, he served in the US Army for approximately 7 years with two tours in Iraq and a tour in Egypt. He has personal experiece in overcoming his past and uses this as the foundation in both training staff and helping clients.
